Wanderlust

Travel: The City Of Pines - Four hours and a very comfortable ride, we arrived at the City of Pines.
We arrived early dawn and even at that holy time of the night, there were Dept. of Tourism representatives who met passengers to provide assistance. Unfortunately, we found out later that it would be better to scout the net for hotels and hotel rates then let the tourism people guide you to the hotel of your choice, rather than letting them give you choices (they have tie ups with certain hotels, not necessarily the hotels that would give you the value of your money). Oh, sorry if I am starting with a not-so-good note. Promise this is the first and last, as my Baguio experience was as Fine as the Pine trees! lols

Coron is the new Tagatay - When Travel Plans FailsI know I did this -Ohh, how lucky we are. I know! But maybe, all luck wasn't poured my way that day or my luck had a 12-noon expiration. Oh, but don't get me wrong. I had a big blast on birthday, however the #birthdaycation that we originally planned didn't actually happen, well at least, not as  how we planned it to be.

Excited for a Birthdaycation - In a few days I am going to Coron for my very first birthday getaway! Yes, my first.

The climb to Osmena Peak - One weekday, hubby said he wants to climb Osmeña Peak. Don't ask how he arrived at that thinking. It's another long story. Anyways, he said that request, and I, being a local of the place (have I told you I am a local of Dalaguete, Cebu) didn't find the idea appealing at first. Not to mention that I mentally calculated the energy I have to spend for the activity.

Bound for Southwest of Cebu - It was a weekend getaway that we planned. But the planning stopped there. Up to the last minute, we have not decided where to go. So, while the taxi is heading to the South Bus Terminal we did a toss coin -Head=Moalboal, Tail=Alegria.

How Much of the Philippines have you visited? - I got a C-!

Packing Dilemma - One of my dilemmas -packing! We would be away for 5 days… would be moving from one hotel to another… not the mention would be packing for my baby boy. So I am in constant consultation with Mr. Google now to make my packing hassle-free and effective (and it has to be within 15 kilos limit that we declared with Cebu-Pacific).
